The swindler tries to acquire a respectable gloss with the help of other swindlers.
Alexander Orlovsky, a subject of our investigations about infogypsies, has decided to once again fix his battered image in a curious way. As CRiME writes with reference to [high-profile cases], literally last Friday, news appeared about this young man being awarded the “prestigious” “Choice of the Country” award.
“Winning the Country’s Choice Award is another confirmation of trust from clients, which is important for potential students,” the note says. “Alexander Orlovsky not only has deep knowledge and experience in the cryptocurrency field, but also effectively shares it with his students.”
However, the award was not given to Orlovsky personally, but to his "office" Financial Freedom Academy. But that is not the point. The point is that this award is no less "murky" than Orlovsky’s FFA Academy.
Let us recall that Alexander Orlovsky, at the age of 22, became a co-founder of the investment club Investhub, and also founded the FFA (Financial Freedom Academy), which supposedly teaches people how to make money on cryptocurrencies.
Alexander Orlovsky is accused by a number of experts of several fraudulent schemes related to cryptocurrency. In particular, he popularized educational courses on cryptocurrency, which, according to many participants, turned out to be ineffective or fraudulent. Often, people who paid for these courses did not receive the promised knowledge and experience, and they were refused a refund for the money spent on "training". Many reviews indicate low quality of training and lack of support after paying for the courses. At the same time, his followers are trying to clean out negative reviews about Orlovsky’s courses from the Internet.
In addition, Orlovsky is accused of collaborating with the Russian platform VELES, which is allegedly fraudulent and has caused significant financial losses to Ukrainian investors. Some of the funds raised through this platform allegedly went to finance the Russian army.
Alexander Orlovsky has also been implicated in knowingly providing false investment advice, in particular on setting up a trading bot, which has caused many investors to lose significant amounts of money.
The organizer of the "Choice of the Country" award, which recognized Orlovsky’s contribution to crypto mentoring, is an LLC of the same name registered in 2020, the CEO and ultimate beneficiary of which is Ruslan Valerievich Lirnyk.
The main KVED of this company is "Advertising agencies". According to public registers, the main type of income is "participation in the competition for the "Country’s Choice" award".
As we can see, in 2021, becoming a laureate of the "Choice..." cost 24,870 UAH 00 kopecks without VAT. How much Alexander Orlovsky paid for the "medal" now, we can only guess, but we believe it was also not very expensive.
Payment for a nomination is the first sign of fraud or manipulation. In addition, we have noticed that "Country Choice", like Orlovsky’s FFA Academy, systematically removes negative reviews about itself from the largest review sites. At the same time, the award is bombarded with positive comments on review sites by the same bots that promote the same info-gypsy scammers like Alexander Orlovsky (for example: 1, 2).
Despite the “cleanup” of the Internet, traces remain on the network (1, 2) that “Country Choice” has been aggressively promoting its “services” to businesses since its inception.
